I heard that Anna is packing for this thing called CAMP!?! Any of you guys heard of such a thing? I was hiding in her stuffed animal pile and spying on her all morning....

Maybe if I hide in her suitcase she will take me with her?!

Hello Puppies! As you know it has been a while since I, ChaChi Lu Pink Champagne, have offered some deep advice to all my followers. Today I was pondering a deep thought and I wanted to share it with you. Today Babs called me "naughty" and I can't imagine why I am so. Could it be that she is finally sick of my little pee stains in the Library? It is not like I intend to stain the carpet, it is just way more luxurious than my litter box. And I believe it is not appropriate to have my litter box out in the open, in the entry way, for everyone to see me doing my business. Especially Jett. He is so nosey! I like the privacy of the library and it is so convenient, right off the master bedroom.

Maybe it is time that I brush up on my reading. Does Babs know what a truly bad dog looks like? I mean...look at this book....it is full of disgusting creatures! None of them have the refined bone structure as myself, or have the incredible looks and high standards such as I.

Oh for dogs sake, I give up. I can't for the life of me decide why she called me naughty. I am going to bask in the afternoon warmth and ponder all of my incredible attributes. Maybe Babs will make me a daquari ....Babs....Babs.....don't forget my bendy straw!

When Nacho came to stay with us, he brought this silly thing...we are a little unsure what it is. Chachi was brave and went inside. I, Jett, decided it looked suspicious so I didn't go in. Nacho, is that your blankie? It smells interesting...

We gave Nacho the "Ball that does nothing" to see if he could figure out how to use it. Nope. Still does nothing. *sigh* we tried...who thinks up these dog toys? I would rather play with socks myself.....and there are PLENTY of socks around this house....

Hi Doggies! I wanted to let you in on my secret. I found this special spot of sunshine and it is all mine. ChaChi sometimes tries to sunbathe but her crazy Chinese Crested/Chihuahua hair makes her susceptible to sunburns so Babs doesn't let her sit here for long. SO, the good news is that I can steal her spot and sit her longer than her. Sometimes she whimpers as me to move back in the house. She is just jealous that I, Jettie Bean Texas Ranger, am a proud Texan and I can take the heat. I need to go now and get as much sun as possible before that nasty MN winter comes back......xoxo Jett

Hi Puppers!

It has been an exciting week. Spring vacation is here and the family decided to do a Spring "Stay-cation" ! We have been home all week together and you know what that means? Lots of cuddles, and yummy food, and hugs, and staying up late, and walkies!!!

I just wanted to show you what I have been watching ALL morning. I did the stare down as Babs made this delish little breakfast bagel with SALMON. I know, hold on to your rawhide...SALMON! My fav! Even if Babs teases me with comments of how I am a CAT DOG....I don't care. I just want a little piece of that salmon. Jettie was very polite and got a bite but I made sure I wasn't forgotten by whining and drooling while sitting pretty.

The whimpering worked! Now Jettie and I are going to nap until lunch. I heard Babs is firing up the BBQ and I am thinking there might be some bratwurst in my future...I will keep you posted.

Humiliation at its finest! Can you believe this crap? Babs thinks it is time to start blogging again and before you know it...I am wearing BUNNY EARS! Maybe if I lie still and close my eyes, this will all be a bad dream.
No such luck! There are PANTS with this little ensemble! With a POM POM! I am not a bunny. I may have been born on Easter, my name may be Jettie Bean Texas Ranger, but I am no dumb bunny~ I was supposed to be a show dog. I probably could have won Westminster had I had the right agent. Instead, I am stuck in suburban Minneapolis with a pink cotton tail and a stupid blog. Happy Spring. There, now can I get out of this?!

Meet my brother, Nacho!

Hi puppies! Meet my brother Nacho. Well, he is my half brother but we have the same Momma. Isn't it remarkable how much our faces look alike? Our markings are the same except I have LONG HAIR and he is a SHORT HAIR. We had our sweaters on because it has been as low as 30 below windchill around here. We have to find an indoor doggie park for fun. Otherwise, I can always play with ChaChi everyday at home.
Here I am "socializing" and the Tiny Tails meet up. I guess I need to learn some manners because Babs was a little upset that I used my outside voice. I get so excited I just want to bark.

Here is brave and well behaved Nacho. He comes here often and he loves to join the pack and play fetch. ChaChi and I mostly stood by Babs. It was our first time there and we had no idea what was going on! Babs thinks she needs to take us out more in the winter because we were being big babies and didn't want to join in the fun. ChaChi kept trying to jump up on Babs so that she would get carried. Spoiled. That is what Babs called us.

Today it was almost 40 degrees above zero. It was a heat wave. Jett and I went to the beauty pawlor and got our nails clipped. We each got a flossie to chew on. Of course, ChaChi keeps trying to steal mine. Humpf.

Good Morning puppies! Jett and I have a fun day planned. We are going on a play date. See, it is super super cold here in Minnesota so we have to plan indoor playtime. We are going to meet our friends at a local indoor doggie park. I will have Babs take pictures and I know you are all excited to see Jett's brother Nacho. He is going too.

Hi Doggy Bloggy Friends! It has again been a while. Babs is a slacker. Just want you to know that it is all her fault that you have not been updated on our latest and greatest adventures. She has now been warned by Jett and I that if she doesn't get her act together we will have to hire a new publicity manager. I, ChaChi Lu, have not seen my face on the cover of Dog Fancy...and I might add that I have the looks to sell magazines. If only Babs kept up with my blog, I might be a famous superdog model by now.

Today is a very special day as Graham gets confirmed. I think there might be cake in my near future. I will let you know. But I probably won't share it with Jett because Auntie Karie called him "fat" the other day and I think he is trying to cut down on the people food.

Hi ALL! I am sorry we haven't been keeping up with my blog but I do have some VERY exciting news. Seems as if Babs' friend is going to adopt my half brother HERMAN! Yes...he is coming all the way from Texas to live with Gail and Kevin. I think they are going to change his name to NACHO. I bet he will like CHEESE like MEEEE! I can't wait to meet him. I think Babs' sister Karie is bringing him back on the 5th from DALLAS. I will keep you all posted!

Oh doggies...I just thought I would tell you about my night. Anna said that I was "stinky" but I really don't know how that is possible. She decided I needed a shampooch and conditioner. She poured me a bath and used "swanky dog" soap. It was delightful. I loved my bath. But then, my enjoyable night took a sudden turn as I saw her looking at the pile of dog clothes. She found these jammies and I think they are slightly rediculous. I mean, penguins in July? Wa?

I had to sit and think about what just happened. Let's see, hugs, bath...then....humiliation? I am more of a Man than these penguin jammies reflect. I don't care how cute everyone thinks I am.

Hi Doggies! I have some really fun news. Seems as if Anna got a doggie sitting job this weekend. She watched Sparkle Sassy Pants for the day while her Mommy and Daddy were busy. Well, the cool thing is that I am totally in love with her. Look at those refined features. She also has an amazing fashion sense with that cutie patootie bow on her head.

ChaChi tried to get in on the hugs but she settled for sitting on Anna's lap. I hope this is a lesson to ChaChi that she isn't the only cute doggie in town. I, Jet, am completely excited to spend the day with both of my lovely puppy girls.

Happy Sunday everyone! ChaChi and I have been enjoying our backyard and I thought I should post some pictures of our big garden. (well, everything is big to us) The weather has been so beautiful and the Minnesota Mosquitoes have not been out yet...so it has been enjoyable. ChaChi is big into pouncing on ANTS. Sometimes I sleep like this and Babs calls me a "peoples". Today was especially nice because Babs decided to read and lay around and only do laundry. This provided many opportunities to nap like this. I don't even think she made the bed today...which made it very easy to sneak way under the covers and go back to sleep. Nighty Night and Nappy Nap!

So tonight is the big night. I have my tuxedo on and everything. I think I am going to be the next American Idol. I mean, I am very handsome AND I am very vocal!

Babs thinks that David Archulete is going to win because he did an amazing performance last night. She was thrilled he picked an Elton John AND a John Lennon song to sing. She thinks he is the winner.

Oh my doggies, I have to tell you about what happened last night. I think our house was invaded by 12 year old girls. It was CRAZY! At one point, they dressed Jet and I up for a doggie fashion show. I was passed from girl to girl and they were all so loud and giggly and .....it was just really, really loud at our house.
This is a picture of AJ making HOT DOGS on the grill. YES! HOT DOGS! (not to be confused with HAUTE DOGS, like myself, in the fashion world) Anydoodle, did I get a hot dog? Did I get a piece of that scrumptious cake? NO. It was not my party.

So, I decided to take my frustrations out on my chewy stick. This is me. I am pouting that my house is so CRAZY loud with screaming, giggling, girls. I am pouting because they made me wear ALL of my clothes...and they changed me about nine times. I am pouting because I never got a hot dog OR a piece of Oreo ice cream cake.

Happy Saturday! Today was a first for Jettie and I. We participated in the "Walk for the Animals" for our local Human Society Animal Shelter. Here is a picture of our Team! We raised over $1,000 for all of those homeless kitties, puppies, and animals!
This is me, ChaChi Lu, thinking about how lucky we are to have loving homes. Inside this building, many puppies and kitties are just waiting for a good home. Babs said that she was walking in memory of her favorite rescue dog, Zack, who grew up in her home and was found at this very shelter by Babs and her Dad when she was little.
This is a picture of AJ, Graham and Jettie. Uncle Rick has Simon in his arms and is walking in honor of Simon, Louise and Buster (who were also rescue dogs that were brought home to live with Amy and Rick).
Here Amy and Louise (Skipperkee) pose outside of the very building that Louise was rescued from. Louise is a happy Senior Citizen and was participating in the walk even though she is 91 years old in people years. Sometimes Amy helped her along by picking her up and carrying her.
Lucy the Corgi belongs to our friend Nate who also walked on behalf of our team. Lucy went to the groomer before the walk and was voted by Nate and Babs as the prettiest Corgi at the walk.

We all enjoyed helping our local shelter and shivered through the 40 degree temps for a great cause! Cheers to the volunteers, friends and family that donated money, and all the businesses that supported this event.

Jettie and I have a perfect plan when it comes to dinner time. We have this bench that is just our height and we are able to keep our eyes on all the delicious food as well as what drops on the floor. Here is Jettie and I keeping tabs on the latest barbeque dinner.
What are they eating, Jettie? Can you see? What is that yellow thingy? It looks interesting!

OMDOG! This is something super tasty! Babs can't even get a good picture since we are eating it so furiously. This is why we don't take our eyes off the dinner table. I think our cute little whimpers helped Anna to see that we wanted some too!

I woke up this morning to a very nasty joke. Seems as if Mother Nature decided to SNOW some more. How is this possible? I was going to go for a walkie around Lake Calhoun today. Sick Sick Joke!

Ok, remember how we had to cancel Easter because of Anna having the Flu and Grandma Karen getting over her Chemo? Well, we had Easter/Birthdays get together on Sat. Here is a picture of all the Birthday kids blowing out their candles. It was Graham's, Grandpa Dick's and Grandma Karen's Birthday celebration all rolled into one big party!

Anna and Auntie Karie spent all day making this cake! It had a gummi palm tree and Sea Monster. I hope the teddy graham swimmers are aware of the Sea Monster! Karie and Anna love to create fun art...especially edible art!

Hi! This is ChaChi Lu and I am not very happy right now. Seems as if Babs snuck off to AZ without me. She and her sister are having a blast and have left Jet and I at home. Well, at least she left AJ and the kids with us or this would just be horrible. And to top it off, they are laying by the pool and it is snowing in MN!!!!

First Day of Spring Break!

Finally! It was a lovely sunny day and Jet and I were able to go for a coffee run with the Babs and the kiddos. I, of course, chose to wear my pink cherry warm up and Jet wore his Sturgis T-shirt (he is such the man these days). See all that snow behind us? We are hoping that is melts away fast. Much like groundhog day, Jet and I saw our shadows today so we forecast a speedy Spring.

Anna was remarking that our local Coffee shop should offer Fillet Mignon Lattes so that Jet and I could enjoy coffee time too.

All I want is some beauty rest and Babs is constantly interrupting my day with the vacuum. Why must she constantly clean? I like the house when it is all messy and I can find my toys. I think she was in our room and mopping the floors too...you know what that means...our room is going to smell CLEAN...which is NOT a good thing. Our room isn't a pine forest. It is a stinky doggie den. Next thing you know she is going to wash my snuggly and make it smell like fabric softener..ick!

Hi everyone! Easter was canceled, or at least postponed, because Anna got sick. She has a nasty cold/flu and we didn't want Grandma Karen to get sick. (She still has a low immunity because of her Chemo treatments). So... we just decided it wasn't worth it to expose everyone to a nasty flu.

And then, as if this wasn't enough, we got a ton of snow last night which makes it hard to believe it is Spring. Graham went outside to shovel the driveway. He is so sweet to help!

Now all we have to do is figure out what to do with the Ham! We have enough to feed an army!

But let's not forget whose Birthday it is today...Jettie Bean Texas Ranger! (It is also Grandma Karen's Birthday too!) That is the best part!

...Daddy got Mommy and Easter Basket!

Happpy First Day of Spring! This makes Babs very happy because she says it won't be long and the snow will go far far away. She is super busy getting the house all clean and tidy for Easter Sunday. Daddy was thoughtful and got her this delightful little basket of Spring flowers for the center of the table. It is sitting in the sun so we decided to join it for some warmth and relaxation! After all of the relatives come to have Honey Baked Ham, and yes I am sure we will get a small piece, then they will all go into the home theater to cuddle with US...oh, and they MIGHT watch a movie....but the most important part is that we will get TONS of attention! My Birthday is Near!

Hi puppies and humans! This is a picture of me when I first came home to live with my family. I was so tiny! I am going to be ONE on Easter and I have something fun to tell you. See, my birth nanny Katie named me Jet and Babs tried and tried to think of a big fancy name for me. (Seeing as though I have to live with ChaChi Lu Pink Champagne) Then it kinda came to her one day while she was scratching me. She thought that we should always celebrate my birthday on Easter (even though it moves around a bit) because everyone would be home. AND, here is the best part, she decided my big name is "Jettie Bean Texas Ranger" ...kinda like Jelly Bean...and Texas because of my heritage. Finally Ranger, because it is manly and I am a big manly dog! Now all Babs has to do is register me with my big name. Then I am official.

So I thought I should tell you that EVERYONE will be celebrating MY birthday on Sunday at our home. Coincidently, it is also Grandma Karen's real birthday too. I SMELL CAKE IN MY NEAR FUTURE!

When will this snow melt?

Today, Babs said she is sick of the snow. Jet and I want to go for a walk. It is supposed to get pretty warm today (like in the 30's) so we should be able to explore the driveway and lick some snow today. Babs said that it won't be long and our backyard will be green again and we can have friends come over and sit by the fire pit. Here is a picture of our back yard...oh, we can hardly wait!

Hi all! See my new "Barkingdales" pink credit card squeeky toy? See my flossie? I got those from my birth nannies Amy and Mary. They brought me into this world and the didn't forget my Birthday. I am so excited to chew my favorite treatsie. I let Jet have my second flossie because I kinda like him.

I should also point out that Amy had a beautiful baby girl named Mary Jane and Babs got to meet her for the first time yesterday. Babs said she is like a little angel with a princess face and long eyelashes. Amy is a busy new Mommy but not too busy to forget my birthday. Mary also let me know that Sammy, my brother, is super happy and his same old snuggly self. I feel so lucky to have so many people who care about me. But then, why shouldn't they all love me??? After all, I am ChaChi Lu Pink Champagne the great!

It's a GREAT DAY!!

Hi puppies! Guess what?? Today is a GREAT DAY! Babs got Jet and I a new "loofa bunny toy". Here is a picture of me standing guard over the little pink bunny. I am ready to pounce on Jet if he comes near. It is mine mine mine!!!
Sometimes Graham likes to tease me by pulling on the other end. Graham, don't you know that this is MY toy? Gimme it!
Most importantly, Babs says it is a great day because she got the best news ever last night. Grandma Karen has kicked cancer in the butt. She had her Chemo yesterday and her scans came back perfect! She just has one more Chemo left. Babs is smiling and I can tell she is so relieved. I can't wait to see Grandma Karen on Easter and tell her how proud I am of her!!

Oh oh. ChaChi and I have been "naughty". At least that is what Anna says. She is super duper mad at us. See, she left her library book on the floor and ChaChi and I were just curious as to what the big deal was. We tasted it and even tried to play with it. But noooooo, it wasn't fun at all. It just got us into trouble. Anna says she has to pay for the book now. I don't get it...wasn't it hers in the first place? I'm sorry, Anna. We were just hungry for knowledge.

Oh Doggies, I just have to tell you that it is so nice to feel better. See my smooth belly? Rash free and soft like a good hairless little doggie. Jet has been keeping up with my daily grooming ritual of licking my face and ears. He is rather good at being my personal attendant. I, however, don't need to take care of HIS grooming as I am above that mundane task. See, I am special. He should pay me just to be in my company. Jet is lucky to have the privilege of being on my staff of personal servants...just like Babs.

Hi friends and family. I just got back from the V-E-T and I have been told I should feel better soon. Turns out, my rash on my tummy was further being irritated by the cream Babs was putting on it...so we threw that out! I also had new crusties on the tips of my ears and the Vet told Babs that she suspects I might have a little autoimmune problem with my skin. The Vet remembered that I had a histiocytoma on my paw a while back and because of the placement of the different lesions...well, I could just have a funky immune system. SOO, Babs assured me there is life after autoimmune diseases and that a little dose of prednisone and an antibiotic (oral) will have me up and perky in no time.

I am going to use this opportunity to get more hugs and love from everyone. Jet is just happy that I am home and he can't wait to lick my ears!

I think I am going to go snuggle with Babs now....toodles!

Oh puppies! I just heard Babs on the phone with the veterinarian. I think I am going in to see her about my belly. I have this RASH that itches and I can't stop licking it. It makes me whine and pace and I don't like to lay down. It might just be dry...but Babs thinks it is something worse. I guess these are some of the complications of not having hair. She has been using a product called "skin works" that has moisturizers and an antibacterial element that is especially for doggies. But it isn't working. Boo.

Wish me luck as I am NOT a big fan of my VET. She is super sweet but I don't trust her one bit. Once she smiled and the next thing I knew, I had a sharp pinch. She is TRICKY!

I will keep you posted....

Who wants the "Ball that does Nothing"??

Hi to all fellow DWBloggers! As you know, Simba passed along a toy to us for wining his contest. We found the toy, the ball that does nothing, to be equally unimpressive. This further made us think of how we could make "somethin' outta nothin"....and we thought we would start our own contest to ....as you might say, keep the ball rolling. We would like to send this ball out to another doggie. This doggie needs to share a story of unselfish animal kindness. This could be an inspiring story that includes himself or his humans...or something in the news that touched their hearts.

The best story...ok, I am sure they are ALL the best...but the one that makes ChaChi cry with tears of inspiration will win the BALL!

The Great Warm-up!

Hi puppies, hammies and humans. This is me, sitting near my cozy fire. thinking about the great warm up. It has been DAYS of below zero temperatures and they tell us a heat wave it coming. It might get up to twenty above today! Woo hoo. This is a good thing because I hear Babs complaining about the cold and we haven't been outside in months. Luckily we are pee box trained! I really want to go on a walk and visit all of my favorite coffee shops soon. I am going to snuggle here for a while and think about green grass. I hear it is only a few months away!

It is always a great day when a cute little puppy is brought into the world of someone who is going to love them and take care of them. This is Buster, a Corgi puppy, and he is going home with my friend Nate. Buster is going to live with his Corgi sister Lucy and is going to be loved by the entire extended family. Isn't he cute? He is a tri-color and I think he face kinda reminds me of JET.

It's my special day!

It's my pawty and I'll whine if I want to.....Today is MY special day. This is NOT Jet's special day so let's not confuse this issue. I am ONE today. I was the beautiful princess daughter to Pinky and Ralph. Babs went to the doggie bakery and bought me a "whoopie pie". It was made especially for spoiled little pooches like MOI. The whole family sang "Happy Birthday" to me at breakfast and I even got to stand on the TABLE to eat my first bite. I didn't eat much because I sometimes have an intolerance to new foods. I did get to taste it until Jet came over and tried to hog a piece. I shared with him because I am quite fond of Jet. BUT, getting back to me....It is MY DAY. I get to make the rules. I am ChaChi LU Pink Champagne the GREAT! I am such a big girl now.

Ooopsies!

See this little fence? Well, let me tell you a little story. This weekend, Babs thought that ChaChi and I were old enough to have run of another room in the house. She took this fence down and we were able to explore the enchanted dining room. All was good until ChaChi and I decided to DIG at the edge of the carpet and then we found the most wonderful thing.....we figured out that you can unravel the carpet and pull it out with your teeth. It was so much fun. Digging. Pulling. ChaChi and I were having a grand ol' time!
Here is a picture of what that hallway looks like now. Yep. Back to confinement. We are no longer allowed in the enchanted dining room until ChaChi and I grow up and learn that Babs' carpet IS NOT A TOY.

I want to give a shout out to my blankee!

Today, Babs put my blankee in the washing machine and I was very concerned. See, I watched her pick it up off the floor when she was mopping my room. She looked at it and quickly put it in the washer. I watched her do it and it made me whine. What is she doing with it? Where is it going? Will it still be fun and stinky when I get it back? I have had this blankee since the day I was brought home on the airplane from Texas. My birth Nanny made it for me and sent it with me to remind me of my home. It might look like a pot holder to you...but it is a very special blanket to me! I better watched the door to the laundry room and make sure it comes back.

Look at us. Grandma and Grandpa went to the Pet Store and bought us some food
and they were having a 50% off sale on coats! We each got a new coat. They will be perfect for Spring and the rain. They have fake fur collars and pink linings. (pink? Oh,well)
We may even try them in the snow. Now we can go out. That is if some one
takes us for a walk. It is rumored that there is a member of this family
that has snow shoes........hmmmmmmmm. I have snow shoe feet! Lets go.

THE BALL THAT DOES NOTHING!!

Ok Doggies, humans, and hamsters...I have to tell you the most exciting news EVER! Jet and I got a package in the mail from SIMBA all the way from the UK. Babs finally let us open it yesterday. It was so exciting to have a pawsome friend from WAY FAR AWAY. And guess what? He knew EXACTLY the kind of treatsies that we like. This is me finding my perfect chewie before Jet even has a chance to claim one. These are delish!
And here I am casually chewing on my treatsie. Yes, I have seen the ball. The ball of "disinterest", the "ball that does nothing", and I would have to say that I have to agree with my dear friend Simba. I REALLY wanted to look like I was playing with it, using my grand imagination, and playful skills....because it was so generous of Simba to send it to me. Babs even tried to throw it and make a big fuss. Anna even put a treat inside. Like I can't figure THAT out. And honestly, I have really really good manners and so I am going to add that I was delighted to receive such a thoughtful gift. I think I will just leave it for Jet as he seems to be amused with just about anything.
24 hours later....Yep. It is official. Even Jet finds the ball less than delightful. Ok, doggies...we are going to have to find a home for this ball. SOMEDOGGIE is going to love it. Now Babs has to be clever and think up another contest with the ball being the prize. Keep posted for details. Also, a big big thank you to Simba and his family for the super fun game. You guys are the BEST!

It started out like a normal Friday morning. Miss ChaChi Lu Pink Champagne was "warming" her underside by her friend Mr. Kitchen Vent. I swear, you would think she was sunning herself on a beach in Cabo the way she dramatically poses herself. Whatever! I had better things to do with my time....
This is me. I am watching Daddy make something magnificent. It would only be his famous onion and mushroom omelet. (That is French for fancy eggs) OK, now add the onion...ever so gently flip...ohh yeah ...now let it sizzle...that's it...mmmmm...
See what I mean? Who needs Emril with Daddy in the house? BAM! That is breakfast! Now guess what we get to do today...?? That's right! We get to explore what is inside the box!!!

Attention everyone. Babs says I am on my way to becoming well mannered. I thought I should put on my tuxedo t-shirt for today's post as I am such a Gentleman. See, I haven't eaten poo for days now. For some reason, and it could be because of those sneaky treats Babs has been giving ChaChi and I each day, poo just tastes disgusting! Blech! So, it is best to just leave it on the pee pad. I have noticed that I get way more attention when I leave them alone. I must be a "good boy" because I have been called that many times in the past few days.

So, just thought I should let you know that I am on my way to being a very civil and obedient doggie with fresh breath and refined manners.

I'm LOST...OK, not REALLY...but I don't get it!

Some people look forward to the Super Bowl, but Babs has been patiently anticipating the new season of LOST. Last night she got her wish and ChaChi and I were ready for TV snuggles. The crazy part is, and maybe this is just my little Chihuahua brain, but I DON'T GET IT! Is the Island a time portal? Is it entirely made up in Hurley's insane mind? Who are the "others" and how did Charlie go into the future to talk to Hurley? This is just so confusing! I don't get why Babs continues to watch such a crazy show! I'm LOST!

What is this box? Babs said it is supposed to be good for me. She said she read about this handy little product on Tadpoles blog. What? Did I hear that right? This is going to make me stop eating my poo? I LOVE POO! I love to have a little poo snack from the poo box every now and then!

This is not good, ChaChi. It says on this box that it is a "behavioral aid". Just how dumb does Babs think we are? Does she think I am going to let her give me these tablets? ....Hey, Chachi....Babs has some cheese for us! Let's have some cheese!

Oh, and Tad, just so you know...I don't think I am going to vote for you now. Chachi still thinks she is going to vote for you because you are opposed to poo eating but I think everyone should be able to eat poo if they want. And I am a little miffed that you put this crazy idea into the mind of Babs.

The Birthday Countdown!

Hi puppies and family! Everyone has been asking, inquiring minds want to know...when is my REAL birthday? Well, I just heard from my birth Mommy AMY that I was born on Feb.20th 2007. My Momma Pinky and my Daddy Ralph were so proud of us. I just thought it was important to let everyone know ahead of time that THIS is my real birthday. It was about 12 weeks after that this picture was taken...on Anna's lap...on my way to my new home. I cried in the car and my face looks a little confused, but I eventually felt right at home in my loving family. I hope Babs plans something special for my big day!

I think Jettie can TALK!

We all know that I, ChaChi Lu PInk Champagne, have been blessed with the looks in this family. But, I think Jet has the ability to TALK. Yes. See, he has trouble jumping up on the couch (even though he comes from a family of agility dog champions) or even jumping down. He gets very frustrated and then decides it is easier if someone picks him up. He usually stands just like this and make a half barking sound that sounds exactly like "HUP"...I kid you not!

I am hoping he teaches me to say "more beef please".

We are home from the Doggie Salon!

What an exciting day! ChaChi and I went to a Doggie Salon and got all beautiful. Notice our little matching bandanas! Not only were we pampered with nail treatments, a good teeth brushing, and a lovely shampoo...but when we arrived home Babs and Anna had gotten us EACH a new comfy bed for the living room. It was important than ChaChi pick out her bed first and I was so happy she picked the pink bed. I really wanted the blue one. As if that wasn't exciting enough, I found a yummy chewie in my bed!! I think ChaChi had one too but I didn't really care so much because I was busy gnawing on mine.

Babs said that my breath was as sweet as pie and my fur smelled like baby powder. ChaChi already wants to roll around on her chewie to make herself stinky again. She REALLY prefers stinky but don't tell her I told you. She would be so embarrassed!

Happy Saturday all you pups and humans. Christmas is over, New Years is over...I almost forgot what to do on a boring Saturday.

But as you know, I, ChaChi Lu Pink Champagne am very clever so this confusion didn't last for long. I showed Jet how to chase me when I take his new duckie toy. I also decided to run fast around the living room and show off my great athletic ability.

Babs says she is thinking about taking Jet and I to the Doggie Pawlor today to get our nails done, teeth brushed (thank goodness because Jet's breath is driving me doggie), and a shampoo. Jet always looks all poofy after a bath but I usually look the same. Maybe this is because of my Chinese Crested heritage and the fact that I am kinda hairless on my underside. He is kind of a show off after he get's bathed and all I hear about is how he is as beautiful as a show dog...blah blah blah.

Oh, here is the latest movie that Anna made. It is me acting all crazy. But the truth is, I smelled something delish in the carpet and it made me want to roll in it. I can be so silly sometimes!

Ok, so Babs really really wanted an i phone for Christmas and she didn't get one under the tree. But she did WIN one at work. Wowie! She is so lucky. She thinks it is the universe conspiring to get her way. So I asked her how she made that wish happen and she said you have to BELIEVE. That there is hope and magic in believing not just for "stuff" but for goodness. SO, I thought I should try wishing for something REALLY REALLY hard and see if it happens.

Just throwin' it out there. I hear they have good tacos and sunshine and....no snow.
